How the Aligners Work
When choosing clear aligners, we will start the treatment by providing an examination to develop a custom treatment plan. During the planning, we will take accurate impressions of your teeth to create your custom aligners. You will then need to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours a day to achieve the best results. Also, you will need to change to a different aligner after every one to three weeks, as each aligner is only capable of slightly moving your teeth. The total treatment time can take anywhere from 3 to 24 months. After treatment, you will receive a custom retainer that should be worn at night to ensure misalignment does not recur over time.
